Feldenkrais® is designed to make changes where it counts—in your brain.
When more natural movement patterns are internalized, your attention is free and your movements are spontaneous. You’ll be amazed at how chronic tensions resolve themselves without force.

About Zoe
I've been helping people move better, feel better, and live better for over twenty-five years. And, I've been through my own lifelong chronic pain so I get how frustrating it is to want to move better and not know where to look.
I work best with people who are fed up with inefficient, limited movement and desperate to shift out of old patterns. Uncovering new movement is a training, I won't lie to you. (Just think how long it took you to get to where you are now!)
You'll get maximum benefit when you are ready to make a total investment in your own self-development. If you are yearning to move beyond getting out of pain and take back your life, then we are a good fit. I work best with people who want a more-than-good-enough life.
Is it for me?
Feldenkrais is for everyone who wants to move with awareness, intention, power, and efficiency. Everyone can learn and grow. I work with stroke victims, people with cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, people recovering from surgery or injury, as well as people who are stressed, in pain, or looking for personal growth.
With ongoing practice, you will see:
More relaxation and well being
Relief from muscular tension and associated pain
Improved coordination and flexibility
Reduced risk for injury
Full and easy breathing
Developed by judo master and physicist, Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, the Feldenkrais Method® is a form of motor-control learning that re-educates long-standing sensorimotor habits. It is based on principles of physics, martial arts, neuroplasticity, biomechanics, and an understanding of learning and human development.
For more info, see New to Feldenkrais in my blog, Vital Clarity.
Sample a short Awareness Through Movement® lesson. Lie down on the floor (not the bed), and press play. As with all Feldenkrais lessons, practice listening to yourself in a kind, meditative, spacious way.
My back and leg pain could only be relieved by my sessions with Zoe. When a necessary surgery left me partially paralyzed, Zoe helped me walk again. She explains things very clearly and she has an amazing ability to sense what’s going on in the body. She has changed my life for the better.
