What I’m looking for isn’t flexible bodies, but flexible brains. What I’m after is to restore each person to their human dignity.
— Moshe Feldenkrais

Erin is a joy to work with and learn from. She is positive, funny, calming, and creative. Feldenkrais sessions with Erin have brought a new perspective on my body, its capabilities, and its patterns. I feel fortunate to have discovered Erin.
— Joanna, Boulder, CO

Eight years ago I had a lumbar fusion and was having difficulty walking, sleeping, bending, and reaching. I started private sessions with Erin and after several months combined classes and private sessions.

Along the way, I was diagnosed with a structural leg-length difference. Erin was able to help me recover basic movements through her deep knowledge of Feldenkrais principles.

I am more and more connected to how my body moves. This has helped me move through life with more comfort and more grace. I use Feldenkrais principles throughout my day. I have an understanding of how my body moves and am able to access this information to move with much less pain. I also have a library of audio lessons and access them when I am experiencing discomfort or notice a lack of fluidity in movement.

I had no idea of how unaware I was of my body or how my body moves when I started Feldenkrais. I did not expect to find such deep connections. Feldenkrais supports me in maintaining a positive outlook. When I am in pain, whether from arthritis, an uncomfortable sleeping position, or years of movement that is not balanced, I know I can do a Feldenkrais lesson and land in a better place emotionally and physically. I am empowered to care for my body in a kind and intelligent manner.

I didn’t really know what to expect when I walked into my first Feldenkrais session with Erin. A few trusted people thought it was amazing and recommended it to me. I initially dismissed them - maybe because of the name, maybe because I wasn’t yet ready for the transformation to come.

Erin’s experience and masterful handle on the many layers of this work was immediately apparent in my first session. Whether she was explaining the physics or the neurology of Feldenkrais, it was clear that this work had created evolution in her. She was a living being simply sharing something that had helped her with those who sought this unique support.

At its core, Feldenkrais is about returning you to your original wholeness using the body to communicate red flags for areas that could offer greater freedom if you chose to engage them. Erin embodies this principle. As an instructor she is aware of the appropriate boundaries of healing. She can’t fix you. Not won’t, but can’t. So she won’t try. She doesn’t think you need fixing in the first place. You are the healer. You heal yourself if you choose. She can guide and provide feedback, but she isn’t the reason you improve.

The beauty of Erin’s work is that she creates the perfect environment for you to choose to transform yourself. This is all any healer can do, and she does it exquisitely. She primes all her students for them to take hold of their own transformation. And she cheers them on the whole way.

I found that Feldenkrais, and Erin in particular, helped me to improve my relationship with myself. Yes, on a physical level, but more interestingly I found myself seeking the same feelings of resonance and opening on all the layers of my being. And in my life. When I cultivated a relationship with myself that brings greater ease and flow physically, I naturally started to seek this on other levels.

With some things, once you know them, there’s no going back. That’s how powerful working with Erin is. She shows you a door of transformation, and invites you to walk through it. The rest is up to you.

Approaching 70 and not having been on ice skates for 25 years or more, I was fearful of falling. I started out cautious and stiff. All of a sudden, I had a Feldenkrais moment and started focusing on my ribs and torso, which allowed me to be more fluid and relaxed. I can truly say that my participation in the Feldenkrais method has given me new ways to enjoy life.

I have been attending Erin’s classes for 14 months because of a severe hip problem (my right hip movement is quite restricted and painful). Within a short time after attending the Feldenkrais classes, my hip mobility improved and my pain diminished more and more! At this point I would find it impossible to be without my weekly dose of classes because I am continuously becoming more aware of how to use my body more effectively thus keeping me more relaxed (physically, emotionally and mentally). From the start I was astonished of the immense benefits!

With each class, I learn more about the interconnectedness of my entire body; i.e. by moving my head or shoulder in a new way, my entire body feels more aligned and balanced. During my daily activities I am using my body in a more harmonious way because I tend to integrate my entire body rather than just approaching it in fragmented.
— Gerlinde, Boulder, CO

Erin’s weekly sessions help me feel more efficient in my movements throughout the day. Plus, I am sensory-defensive, and feel tension and anxiety when overstimulated. Erin taught me how to re-habituate my breathing patterns, which quickly changes my focus and calms my nervous system when I am overwhelmed. This makes life more enjoyable for me!
— Kate, Boulder, CO

My experience with Erin has been a true gift. She is a patient, gentle, non-judgmental, and insightful Feldenkrais practitioner. My experience of Feldenkrais is that it is a subtle, deep modality to unwind non-working ways of moving my body. With Feldenkrais consistently applied, I walk and hike easier as I am more relaxed, and my energy is conserved. I recommend Erin to anyone who wants to create a wiser, more relaxed, pain-free body!
— Linda, Westminster, CO

At my sister’s urging, after an old injury was re-injured, I began Feldenkrais with Erin. My body was stuck in old movement patterns originally adopted to avoid pain, but had come to the point of doing the opposite. Erin helped my body awaken to more efficient movement that helped alleviate and even eliminate painful ways to move. I always move more easily, and more gracefully, after a Feldenkrais session.
— Karen, Lafayette, CO

I did it!! I walked around the museum for several hours comfortably. Thank you so much for helping me. It was a terrific day.
— Jane, Boulder, CO
I have been practicing Feldenkrais for nearly eight years. I have found it incredibly helpful in becoming more aware of how I move. I have been able to retrain myself and move with less effort. Erin is an exceptional guide to Feldenkrais. Her knowledge is profound and she shares it with ease and humor. I feel blessed to have her in my life.

I love Erin’s philosophical side, her deep interest in her profession AND HER MINDFULNESS.

Erin offers profound insight in new possibilities for movement, as well as gentle guidance and wisdom. She is an excellent communicator. She listens to your needs and is clear in her instructions. She is caring and has patience.... I looooove her!

I relearned to trust my body and have more confidence. It comes naturally that I explore new movements now. My nervous system is much calmer. Erin’s lessons are nourishing not just for the body, but also for the mind and spirit. Her teaching is masterful.

Feldenkrais gives me a place for landing back on my feet. It is something that I am passionate about and grateful to have discovered. The learning never ends and that is what excites me and gives me hope to age with grace.
— Doris, Louisville, CO

Feldenkrais has been life changing...Erin’s knowledge, approach, and teaching has transformed my understanding of how healing your body is a matter of learning how our skeletons work. Erin loves to teach me how to incorporate Feldenkrais into my life, and it’s definitely a new phenomenon for me to go to a session and leave with tools to do it on my own. I’m incredibly grateful that Erin is my practitioner.
— Eryn, Golden, CO

I just love Erin’s classes. Erin is an articulate and compassionate guide to a process of self exploration. Because we are not rushed or pushed, but rather are encouraged to slow down and savor the exploration, I leave feeling good, everytime. Thank you, Erin, for all you offer.
— Sharon, Boulder, CO

Just want to let you know how much I appreciate the classes. My body has not felt this much ease in a long time. I knew I was holding a lot of tension in my ribs, shoulders and neck, but had no idea how to release it. Now it is going week by week. Feldenkrais is so subtle but so powerful. I also appreciate your sense of humor, which is a nice plus.
— Maureen, Boulder, CO

I have been working with Erin for about 2 ½ years now. On a day-long snorkeling cruise I was kicking with fins on and thinking “boy, this is hard.” Then I thought of all the movement we do in Feldenkrais with the ribs and I thought, “Oh! I can use my hips, ribs, and torso to help!” I was able to paddle about for an hour or more without feeling any strain!
— Katy, Golden, CO

Lately when running downhill I find my legs won’t just flow down the hill. They behave as though I have the brakes on and hold myself back from truly running down the hill. After working with Erin in a private session this miraculously went away. I was able to run downhill with my legs continually turning over.

I have been in several minor car accidents and have had chiropractic and yoga to help regain balance. I have only taken five classes in the Feldenkrais Method and already I have more flexibility and correctness of the spine than yoga and chiropractic combined. My body is better functioning than before the accidents. Erin has helped me build a solid foundation for anything that involved balance, focus, and lengthening of the body. I was amazed at how effortless the classes were, and after only one class I noticed immediate results.
— Jenn, Niwot, CO

I was in the Thursday class this week for the first time. It blew me away! I have insomnia and although it isn’t mentioned as one of the things the method helps, I am guessing that it is possible it would help with that since it seems to have an impact on every aspect of health and well-being.
— Frances, Boulder, CO

I just want to let you know how amazing I am finding this work. I have been having neck and shoulder pain for a year and a half. I am a yoga instructor and a Pilates instructor and an ex-personal trainer, and I find that this work is giving me the first relief in many months. I have spent too much money and too much time on therapies and gimmicks that did not work. You are amazing to work with. I have never met a practitioner as dedicated to the work you do as you are. I look forward to future sessions with you and more and more relief. Thank you, Erin!
— Linda, Lyons, CO

After my spinal surgery at age 70 I thought that holding my back as stationery as possible was the best way the avoid pain. What an astonishing concept to realize that movement of the body was actually beneficial!! And Erin is a marvelous teacher; she proceeds at the pace you request and always explains the reason for what she is doing.
— Susan, Boulder, CO

In my Feldenkrais sessions with Erin I have achieved so much more balance and ease of movement. Historically I had years of pain and limitation from accidents and surgeries. This method— and Erin in particular— is so honoring of my body and how it has adapted. She is extremely gentle, and has empowered me with new strategies to increase movement and stability. Rather than focusing on problems to fix or limitations to heal, the language and focus have been on mechanics and giving my body new strategies to draw from. I am thrilled with how much movement I have recovered and how much I am able to participate in life now! Thank you, Erin!
— Eileen, Westminster, CO
I love the clarity of Erin’s lessons, her voice, the tempo, the messages she puts in between the instructions that help me grow. The 30-minute lessons are probably my favorites, as they fit into my life, but I do many of the close to hour-long lessons as well as the shorter ones.

Erin has experience, clarity, and gentleness. She teaches Feldenkrais as easily as breathing. I pick up from her lessons how much Feldenkrais means to her and that gives her lessons extra meaning to me. Her lessons have had a huge impact on me physically. On one level, they are invaluable in treating my diabetes (type 1, over 30 years), as they re-start my whole state and make me more receptive and awake at all levels.

On another level, they have helped me progress enormously in my training at the gym, and have helped me know myself much better and remove blocks and difficulties that I have had for years.

On a professional level, I have found a deep creative force inside that is inseparably linked to my daily Feldenkrais with Erin. I have been able to bring so much more to my work as a publisher, resulting in bestsellers in the real world and a new surge upwards for my team.

On a private level (personal life), daily lessons with Erin neutralize stress, fill me with a true inner calm, and help me live life to the full as a father and boyfriend. I also as embrace life with optimism.

I had a hunch that daily lessons with Erin would bring me many benefits, but in sum they are much bigger and more precious than I could have hoped for. I get a chance to be me again, to sense the world and my place in it in a clear, comfortable, potent, and objective state.

I really appreciate Erin’s approach. She has always been articulate and sensitive to me and my needs. Erin offers a rich variety of ways to experience Feldenkrais. Her teaching has been amazingly effective for my fractured ankle. I now have more mobility and safety, and less discomfort.
— Sue, Boulder, CO

I have been doing Feldenkrais for about 43 years starting with the original first group of Feldenkrais teachers in Israel. I love this method because with subtle movements you get great results. I have been with Erin for 5 years and I find her as good a teacher as those of the first cohort were. She is deep and very knowledgeable and the lessons always feel new. I recommend her wholeheartedly!
— Ziva, Louisville, CO

In 2007, my back and leg pain could only be relieved by my sessions with Erin. When a necessary surgery left me partially paralyzed, I had to learn to walk again. Over the last ten years working with Erin has helped improve my ability to function and move.

Plus, Erin explains things very clearly and she has an amazing ability to sense what is going on in the body and gently guide it to learning. Her knowledge and delivery of that knowledge is brilliant. My sessions with Erin have changed my life for the better. With Feldenkrais I am guaranteed to always keep learning.
— Paula, Lafayette, CO

For the first time in years I can reach into the cabinets to put the dishes away instead of stacking them on the counter for my husband.

And when my brother came to town for a visit, I was able to give him a huge bear hug! You should have seen his eyes! He couldn’t believe I could use my arms again.
— Phyllis, Westminster, CO

I was referred to a Feldenkrias practitioner by my vascular surgeon for persistent neck, chest and back pain associated with thoracic outlet syndrome. My pain levels have decreased substantially and I have fewer times when my arm is limited.

I feel more independent. I think it’s because I’m doing something because I enjoy it, not because I have to keep a medical appointment. Feldenkrais is also something I can do without worrying that I’ll hurt myself.

It’s unbelievably freeing to no longer live in fear of increased pain, continually thinking about what I can no longer do.

I had three hours of complete pain relief in my left shoulder after the session! I think this is the right track for my body. I also slept on my back for part of the night. Thank you so much for your expertise, caring and help.
— Irene, Arvada, CO

I just did your pelvic clock lesson and what a difference I feel. Amazing. Something has been “off” in my pelvis since I fell down the stairs many years ago. At first, I just felt a difference in my right leg when I walked. Then I felt it in my left mid back and now I feel it in lots of different places. I am looking forward to doing this later and seeing if it continues. This is a significant step toward correcting this situation.
— Maureen, Boulder, CO

I’m thoroughly middle-aged and have enjoyed competitive running for the past seventeen years. But two years ago typical injuries and irritations were lingering and I didn’t want to lose all the good feelings that come from running. Two years later, the glow and power and free-flowing light in the Feldenkrais practitioners I’ve been fortunate enough to be around is rubbing off on me.

The pain has gone and will not come back. Movements are becoming increasingly smooth and easy. Although I’ve rewired the neuro-muscular system, it seems I’m also rewiring my spirit.
— Robert, Boulder, CO

Learning Feldenkrais has given me a renewed respect for my body and what my body can do to help me get through my days if only I take the time to listen. Feldenkrais has slowed me down and has offered me alternative constructive ways to deal with the stress in my life. I’m very grateful to have found this method and to have found Erin.
