Banish the achy back


This month we’ve been looking at a mobile pelvis in class. I’m obsessed with swiveling the pelvis and ribs in walking!

It’s amazing how softening the ribs is all-important for a mobile pelvis. If your ribs are not moving much, this lesson will invite a new pattern to emerge.

If you have an achy back from sitting too long, or just had a long day, this lesson can help. I always feel like I’m lying in a hammock by the end, with my pelvis heavy and sinking into the floor.

(Note that you can always use a tolled towel instead of your arms behind the back, and just place the hands on the belly. )
